That afternoon, I was walking alone on the small path at the edge of the forest ๐ฟ, the air was strangely quiet, only the rustling of the wind and a few birdsongs in the distance ๐ฆ. Suddenly, I heard chaotic sounds coming from the bushes nearby – the shrill cawing of crows mixed with weak cries for help. Feeling something was wrong, I quickly ran over and was stunned to see two crows pecking continuously at a tiny baby owl ๐ฆโโฌ๐. Its immature wings trembled in despair, its round eyes opened wide in fear, making my heart clench.
Without thinking much, I quickly picked up a branch, shouted loudly and chased the crows away. They were startled and flew up into the sky ๐ช๏ธ, before leaving they still glanced back with resentment. I knelt down beside the baby owl, seeing many small wounds on its body that were bleeding ๐ข. It was so weak that it could only move slightly, its breath was as fragile as a thread.
I gently picked it up in my two hands ๐คฒ. Its small body was cold and trembling constantly, but when I gently stroked its back, it seemed to calm down a little. At that moment, I knew I couldn’t leave it in the middle of the wild forest. I brought the baby owl home ๐ก, lined it with a warm nest, cleaned every trace of blood, bandaged it carefully, and fed it small sips of water.
In the following days, I took care of it like a little creature that needed to be protected ๐. Every meal, every sleep, I was there to observe, worrying about every little thing. From a trembling, scared owl, it gradually got stronger, its eyes lit up โจ, its wings began to move strongly day by day. There were times when it tilted its head to look at me, its innocent eyes made my heart soften.
I know that one day, it will have to return to the vast sky ๐ค๏ธ, where it truly belongs. But in the short time we spent together, I felt like we saved each other in a very special way โ I saved it from the cruel bite of death, and it reminded me that: just a little compassion can keep a life between life and death ๐๏ธ๐
