Last week, two compassionate troopers from the Washington State Patrol made an unexpected rescue along Interstate 5 in Pierce County. 🛣️ Amid the rush of cars and trucks, they spotted a tiny, frightened kitten huddled dangerously close to traffic. Without hesitation, they pulled over, gently scooped her up, and brought her to safety. 🙏
💕 A Perfect Name for a Perfect Fighter
After a quick check, it was revealed that the little survivor was a girl — and in honor of the heroes who saved her, she was given the perfect name: Trooper. 🚓🐾
And just like her name suggests, Trooper quickly proved she’s got the heart of a warrior. Despite her rough start, she showed strength, spirit, and an incredible will to live.
🩺 A Tough Road to Recovery
During her initial veterinary check-up, Trooper’s rescuers received heartbreaking news — one of her tiny legs was badly broken. 💔 At first, the full extent of the injury was uncertain, but after a follow-up exam with her new loving owner, Trooper Bolen, it was confirmed that her leg would need to be amputated to give her the best chance at a healthy life.
It was a tough decision, but Trooper faced it bravely — just like the true hero she is. 💪
🌈 Stronger Than Ever
Since her surgery, this little fighter has been making an amazing recovery. She’s already walking, eating well, and purring constantly — filling her new home with warmth and joy. 🏡✨
Trooper has also made friends with her new furry siblings, including a few friendly dogs who have welcomed her with wagging tails. 🐶🐾
